The Tease are the band to please all ages and all musical tastes. Requests and audience participation are encouraged, as we enjoy nothing more than to get guests aged 1-100 singing and dancing along to all their favourite songs from across the decades!
Band Members:
Tanya Murphy brings her unique vocal style and rhythm guitar skills to the Tease. Tanya was in her first band at age 14 and has been performing ever since as a guitarist, bassist and singer in a number of bands, including playing with Married at First Sight star Drewboy at major festivals such as Groovin’ The Moo and the Grass is Greener, and supporting iconic acts such as Jimmy Barnes, Pete Murray and more!
Kimberley Cooper lends her high-energy performance on percussion and backup vocals. Kimberley’s musical talent has her in high demand all over Far North Queensland, performing with Eddie Skiba, Tony George, Elemental and The Taste among others.
Kevin Hazell has been playing lead guitar and bass guitar since he was 14 and has been a permanent fixture of the Cairns music scene from a young age, including winning a number of Battle of the Band competitions.
Other band members include Liam White (saxophone), Michael Rivett (saxophone), Danny Johnson (lead guitar), and Leon Tussie (drums), with different elements being interchangeable to suit your event!
